Pic of the Week: Autumnal Tree Trunks by David Hendry
Thick fogs are not that common in Glasgow but when they do come they transform everything we see.
Everyday things look completely different: colours become muted and everything in the distance becomes grey.
I was struck by this row of lime trees in Linn Park.
There were very few leaves remaining but with the fog everything in the distance had lost its colour. I decided to emphasise this by removing the colour from the more distant elements to concentrate the eye on the foreground leaves.

Hide AdIt was quite dull so I had to increase the ISO to 400 to minimise camera shake.
