37. Sulk - The Associates
Sulk is the second studio album from Dundee band The Associates which was released in 1982. The album stayed in the UK Albums Chart for 20 weeks and peaked at number 10. The album was the last to be recorded by original pair of Alan Rankine and Billy Mackenzie.
38. Mogwai Young Team - Mogwai
Another debut album included on our list is Mogwai’s Young Team from 1997 which helped establish the band as a major presence in Scottish music.
39. Seduced and Abandoned - Hue and Cry
The Coatbridge duo Hue and Cry had their first single released on the Glasgow independent label Stampede which led to interest from Circa records. The following year, Seduced and Abandoned was released with tunes such as "History City" and "Labour of Love".
