The event has actually grown so big that the organisers say that they have had to limit the number of entrants this year!

Hide AdThe event now takes place on the Biggar Showground and the organisers have said that this might now be too small a venue, despite it being a vast field.
They have had to limit entries this year, for the first time, because of that lack of space.
However, there is nothing they can do to stop the thousands flocking to the show from all around the country so expect the now notorious long traffic quesus into Biggar on the day.
There will be trucks nearing a century old, buses in liveries of companies long gone, motorcycles by makers now but a memory and, of course, the cars.
