Taj Mahal boss Abed dresses in drag for charity
For the Taj Mahal supremo donned a dress and make-up as he supported a Facebook ‘selfie’ campaign in which male participants had to post pictures of themselves wearing traditionally female beauty products.
“It was a good laugh,” Abed said.
“A lot of people thought I was in my element because of the way I was carrying on.

Abed appeared in drag for a 10-hour shift as a waiter at the High Street restaurant, much to the amusement and occasional astonishment of customers.
“I had to put a sign up outside to say why I was dressed like a woman,” he said.
“I was getting weird looks to start off with but I found it good fun dressing up.
“I was delighted to support a good cause.”
Abed raises £223 in the name of the Breast Cancer Awareness Facebook campaign.
