Lee is Lord of the Ring...
The evening's bill topper was a cracking battle between Kilsyth boxer Derek Skinner and Kirkintilloch's Ally Black.
Both men have been in fine form lately and this was always shaping up to be a belter.

By round two Skinner was starting to unload however and you could see the energy being sapped from a brave Black.
When the final bell rang, Skinner had a commanding lead and his hand was held aloft much to the joy of the very vocal home support.
The victory was the icing on the cake for Derek who had been awarded the Joe McCluskey Snr Memorial Kilsyth Boxer of the Year Shield earlier in the evening.

It was not all joy for the home club however as two of their seven representatives in action were narrowly defeated.
Both Chris Rae and Brian Cameron were just edged out in closely fought contests.
Andy McArthur earned a hard-fought victory whilst debutants Sean Pearce Stevenson and Adam Ghaffer also shone for the Kilsyth club.

"Both Lee and Derek showed why they won the youth and senior boxer of the year titles and I was especially pleased with young Sean Stevenson's debut.
"He showed skill way beyond his years and experience and I have high hopes for the young man."
Head Coach Gerry Donachie added: "The guts and determination shown were an example to everyone in the gym who were not lucky enough to have been in action tonight.
